There’s real money out there for playground projects — you just have to know where to look.

Here are the funding sources our customers use most:

Federal & State Programs

• Land and Water Conservation Fund (LWCF) — Matching grants for public outdoor recreation projects, administered through your state’s parks department.
• Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) — Available to municipalities for projects serving low- and moderate-income neighborhoods.
• State recreation and trail grants — Indiana, Kentucky, Alabama, Florida, and most other states run their own park and recreation grant cycles annually.

Foundation & Corporate Grants

Local community foundations, hospital foundations, and corporate giving programs (think Lowe’s, Walmart, and regional utilities) regularly fund playgrounds, especially inclusive and accessible projects.

School-Specific Funding

PTOs and PTAs, school foundations, and safety-focused facility budgets are the most common paths for school playgrounds. Many districts also phase projects across budget years — we can design in phases to match.

Community Fundraising

Buy-a-brick campaigns, sponsorship signage, and community build events can close the gap on almost any project.
